The George and Dragon is a beautiful 17th Century pub in the picturesque village of Chacombe, conveniently situated just five minutes from junction 11 of the M40, and three miles from the market town of Banbury.
We have been at The George and Dragon since January 2009. In that time we have extensively refurbished the pub, decorating throughout and adding new furniture and fittings. In line with the philosophy of our sister pub, The Dirty Duck Alehouse on the shores of Belfast Lough in Northern Ireland, at The George and Dragon you will receive a warm welcome from friendly, professional staff, and enjoy excellent food and well kept ales in comfortable, informal surroundings.
