About Us

John Tipson and Chris Peverell became the landlords of the George and Dragon in April 2011. Both of them were brought up in the village and share a real passion for their dream pub.
 
John was the head chef here many years ago and Chris started here at a young age working as a kitchen porter. Over the years they have both kept their ties with the pub and when the opportunity arose to run the George and Dragon they jumped at the chance.
 
Their philosophy is to mantain the traditional british pub, a home from home. You will always receive a warm welcome from all the team atThe George and Dragon.
 
Great pub food is served daily as well as a fine selection of real ales and ciders.
